The business was founded in 1991 and historically operated under the goetzpartners brand before being renamed Fortlane Partners in January 2025 following a management buyout backed by Kartesia. The firm serves corporate and investor clients across multiple industries, including healthcare and pharmaceuticals, but it is not itself a biotech, pharma, or healthcare operating company.
