Forward BIOLABS

Forward BIOLABS is a Wisconsin-based nonprofit that operates shared, fully equipped life science laboratory and office space for early-stage biotech and biohealth startups. Rather than developing its own therapeutic pipeline, the organization provides turn-key lab infrastructure, operational support, training, and network access so resident companies can begin R&D quickly and avoid the cost and delay of building independent labs. Its services are aimed at founders working across human health and environmental life science applications, with an emphasis on helping startups reach proof of concept and commercialization milestones faster. Forward BIOLABS is part of the Wisconsin biohealth ecosystem and has expanded its role through programming such as the Innovation to Commercialization Pipeline (ICP) initiative and broader participation in the Wisconsin Biohealth Tech Hub.
