Fountain Acquisition Corp. was a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) formed for the purpose of effecting a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization, or similar business combination with one or more businesses. While the company was sector-agnostic, its management team and board of directors had significant experience in the healthcare, consumer-facing technology, and wellness sectors, often targeting companies within these industries. The company was led by CEO Jonathan J. Ledecky and was listed on the Nasdaq under the symbol FACU. Ultimately, the company did not complete a business combination within its allotted timeframe and proceeded to liquidate its assets and redeem its public shares.
