French Innovative Leukemia Organisation

The French Innovative Leukemia Organisation (FILO) is a prominent French cooperative research group dedicated to advancing the treatment of leukemia and other hematological malignancies through clinical and biological research. Formed in 2015 from the merger of the French Cooperative Group on CLL (FCGCLL) and the Groupe Ouest-Est des Leucémies et Autres Maladies du Sang (GOELAMS), the organization coordinates a robust network of over 80 clinical centers across France and Belgium. FILO serves as a sponsor and manager for multicenter clinical trials ranging from Phase 1 to Phase 3, with a primary focus on chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and Waldenström macroglobulinemia. By integrating academic expertise with pharmaceutical partnerships, FILO plays a critical role in evaluating innovative therapeutic agents and defining international standards of care in hematology.
