Friends Hospital

Friends Hospital is the first private psychiatric hospital in the United States, founded in 1813 by the Religious Society of Friends. Located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the facility provides a comprehensive range of behavioral health services, including inpatient psychiatric care for adolescents, adults, and seniors. The hospital specializes in treating complex mental health conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia through multidisciplinary clinical teams.
