FrontWave Imaging

FrontWave Imaging is a private Spanish health technology company developing software as a medical device for breast imaging. The company uses ultrasound computed tomography, cloud computing, and supercomputing-based reconstruction algorithms to generate high-resolution 2D/3D breast images intended to improve breast cancer detection, especially in dense breast tissue. Its lead product, UBIware, is designed as an end-to-end imaging software solution for screening, diagnosis, and disease monitoring without ionizing radiation. FrontWave Imaging originated as a spin-off of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center and Imperial College London, with commercialization support from 101 Ventures.
