Frosst Ibérica was a major Spanish pharmaceutical manufacturer and a key subsidiary of Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD). Located in Alcalá de Henares, the company specialized in the large-scale production of solid oral dosage forms, including blockbuster medications for cardiovascular and respiratory conditions. In 2010, as part of a global supply chain restructuring following the Merck-Schering-Plough merger, the facility was sold to Mylan. The site continues to operate under Viatris, while the Frosst Ibérica brand remains a significant part of Spain's industrial pharmaceutical history.
