Fundação Faculdade de Medicina

Fundação Faculdade de Medicina (FFM) is a private, non-profit foundation established in 1986 to support the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP) and the Hospital das Clínicas (HCFMUSP). As the primary management entity for the largest hospital complex in Latin America, FFM oversees healthcare delivery, financial administration, and scientific research initiatives. The foundation manages several specialized institutes, including the Cancer Institute of the State of São Paulo (ICESP) and the Lucy Montoro Rehabilitation Institute, and facilitates over 300 clinical trials annually. FFM plays a vital role in the Brazilian healthcare ecosystem by bridging academic innovation with clinical practice and ensuring the sustainability of high-complexity medical services within the Unified Health System (SUS). Its activities encompass the management of human resources, infrastructure investments, and the procurement of medical equipment for its partner institutions.
