FutureTech II Acquisition Corp. is a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) that has entered into a definitive merger agreement with Longevity Biomedical, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company focused on advancing technologies for human health and longevity. The proposed business combination, which includes the simultaneous acquisition of Cerevast Medical and Aegeria Soft Tissue, aims to establish a diversified clinical-stage company targeting aging-related conditions. Longevity’s lead program, LBI-201, is a non-invasive ultrasonic device entering Phase 3 trials for the treatment of ischemic stroke. Other key pipeline assets include LBI-101 for soft tissue reconstruction and LBI-001 for retinal vein occlusion, both in Phase 2 development. Upon the closing of the transaction, the combined company is expected to trade on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol "LBIO."
