G2M Cancer Drugs

G2M Cancer Drugs AG was a German biotechnology company focused on the discovery and development of novel cancer therapeutics targeting cell cycle regulation and chromatin control. Founded by scientists from the Georg-Speyer-Haus, the company developed a pipeline of small molecules and recombinant proteins, including the HER2-targeted antibody-toxin Zemab. Its proprietary Pulse Enhanced ACetylation (PEAC) technology was utilized to develop Savicol, a histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor for familial adenomatous polyposis. In 2005, G2M was acquired by the Danish company TopoTarget A/S to expand its oncology portfolio and HDAC expertise. Following the acquisition, the company operated as TopoTarget Germany AG until the parent company's subsequent merger into Onxeo.
