GAIA BioMaterials has developed and commercialized Biodolomer®, a fully compostable biomaterial that serves as an alternative to traditional plastics. The material is certified for compostability by both BPI (USA) and TÜV Austria (EU), produces no microplastics, reduces CO₂ emissions by up to 80% compared to fossil plastics when incinerated, and can be processed using existing plastic manufacturing equipment.
