Galvita was a Swiss drug delivery company specializing in the development of innovative solid oral dosage forms, particularly orally disintegrating tablets (ODTs). The company's core strength lay in its proprietary Galvita technology, which enabled effective taste-masking and rapid drug release for improved patient adherence. In 2013, Galvita was acquired by the Aenova Group, a major international contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), to bolster its development services for complex formulations. Today, the former Galvita operations serve as a center of excellence for ODT and taste-masking technologies within the Aenova network, focusing on solutions for pediatric and geriatric populations.
