Gateway Institute for Brain Research

Gateway Institute for Brain Research is an international research center focused on accelerating the development of novel treatments and improving existing therapies primarily targeting neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s disease. The institute combines computational modeling, laboratory science, and clinical research. It has conducted at least two interventional clinical trials—one Phase 2 study evaluating intranasal insulin plus glutathione as add-on therapy in Parkinson’s disease patients, and another Phase 1/2 study investigating a microbiota-based intervention. The organization operates out of state-of-the-art facilities at Nova Southeastern University’s Center for Collaborative Research in Florida. No late-stage or commercialized products are reported as of June 2025.
