Gateway Medical Research was a Contract Research Organization (CRO) based in St. Charles, Missouri, that specialized in conducting Phase I through Phase IV clinical trials. In March 2010, Gateway Medical Research was acquired by Celerion, a global leader in early-stage clinical research services. The acquisition allowed Celerion to expand its capacity and expertise in clinical trial conduct and participant recruitment in the United States, integrating Gateway's facilities into its global network.
