Gaudenzia

Gaudenzia is one of the largest nonprofit providers of comprehensive substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health treatment services in the Mid‑Atlantic U.S., operating over fifty facilities across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. The organization delivers evidence-based care through a full continuum that includes crisis stabilization/detoxification; residential/inpatient programs; outpatient services; medication-assisted treatment; harm reduction initiatives; specialized programming for pregnant/parenting women and justice-involved individuals; housing support; prevention services. Gaudenzia also participates in clinical research—such as trials evaluating neuromodulation devices for opioid withdrawal—and collaborates with academic institutions to advance addiction science. In fiscal year 2024 it served more than fifteen thousand clients annually through its network.
