Company intelligence / Profile preview
GB006, Inc. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company and a wholly owned subsidiary of Gossamer Bio. The company was established to develop GB1275, an oral, first-in-class small molecule CD11b modulator (agonist) for oncology indications. GB1275 targets the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment by modulating myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) and tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) to enhance anti-tumor immune responses. The program reached Phase 1/2 clinical trials (KEYNOTE-A36) for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, including metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma, both as a monotherapy and in combination with pembrolizumab or chemotherapy. Although GB1275 received Orphan Drug Designation for pancreatic cancer, Gossamer Bio has since shifted its strategic focus to its pulmonary hypertension franchise, and the GB1275 program is no longer active in its clinical pipeline.
