Overview
Gen Y Biologics was a Singapore-based biotechnology company and a spin-off from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Founded in 2020 by Associate Professor Paul MacAry, the company focused on the discovery and development of human monoclonal antibodies for the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases, with a primary focus on Dengue fever and COVID-19. In collaboration with NUS, Gen Y Biologics commercialized the ImTracker MULTI COVID-19 viral variant neutralization test, a lateral flow immunoassay designed to detect neutralizing antibodies. The company also worked on therapeutic antibody candidates targeting the Dengue virus envelope protein. Gen Y Biologics was officially struck off the Singapore register of companies in January 2026.
