Genetic Support Foundation

GSF provides nationwide access to certified genetic counselors via telehealth. It focuses on increasing access to unbiased, up-to-date genetic information for patients and providers. The foundation has expanded its reach through grant-funded projects that increase patient volume served annually by over 50% in recent years. It also distributes significant financial aid to ensure equitable access to services. In addition, GSF houses the Lettercase National Center for Prenatal and Postnatal Resources—a national clearinghouse for accurate information about prenatal/postnatal genetics. The organization’s impact includes outreach in rural/underserved communities, resource development for both patients/providers, advocacy for best practices in the field of genetics/genetic testing regulation, and direct service delivery via secure video conferencing nationwide. As a nonprofit with no ties to commercial labs or test manufacturers, it maintains objectivity in all patient/provider interactions. No clinical results are reported as it does not run interventional studies. Pipeline breadth/pipeline fields are not applicable.
