Genotypic Technology is an India-based genomics and bioinformatics company that provides commercial sequencing, microarray, bioinformatics, and related research services to pharma, biotech, diagnostics, and academic customers. Founded in 1998, the company positions itself as India’s first genomics company and operates a high-throughput genomics facility in Bengaluru. Its offerings span next-generation sequencing, long-read sequencing through Oxford Nanopore partnership channels, targeted panels, genomics compute infrastructure, and user-friendly NGS data analysis software. Genotypic also conducts internal R&D in human healthcare and agricultural genomics, including targeted resequencing panels and sequencing-based assays for clinical trials and drug discovery. In addition, the company expanded into diagnostics in 2020 with testing solutions covering infectious diseases such as COVID-19, malaria, HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis C.
