GenSci Orthobiologics

GenSci OrthoBiologics was a prominent biotechnology and medical device company specializing in orthobiologic products for musculoskeletal repair and regeneration. Based in Irvine, California, the company was a leader in the development of demineralized bone matrix (DBM) technologies, offering a range of bone graft substitutes such as DynaGraft, OrthoBlast, and Accell. These products were designed to enhance bone healing in spinal, trauma, and orthopedic surgeries by utilizing proprietary carrier technologies to deliver osteoinductive proteins. In 2003, GenSci OrthoBiologics was acquired by the Swiss-Dutch company IsoTis SA, forming IsoTis OrthoBiologics, which was subsequently acquired by Integra LifeSciences in 2007.
