Phase 2- Indications
- HPV infection, Cervical cancer
Company intelligence / Profile preview
Genticel developed therapeutic vaccines targeting women already infected with high-risk human papillomavirus types to prevent progression to cervical cancer. Its lead candidate, GTL001/ProCervix, reached Phase II clinical trials but failed to meet its primary endpoint mid-trial; however, subsequent results were more promising. A second-generation multivalent vaccine candidate, GTL002, achieved preclinical proof-of-concept.
