Genuone Sciences is a leading South Korean pharmaceutical Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) specializing in synthetic drugs. Established in 2020 through the acquisition of Kolmar Korea's pharmaceutical division and Kolmar Pharma by IMM Private Equity, the company provides comprehensive end-to-end services from early-stage R&D and formulation development to large-scale commercial manufacturing. Genuone serves approximately 80% of the South Korean pharmaceutical market and maintains a significant export presence in over 20 countries. The company is notable for its proprietary Lidcap technology, which enables the production of liquid-filled hard gelatin capsules for improved drug delivery. In 2024, Genuone was acquired by Macquarie Asset Management to further its global expansion and enhance its R&D capabilities.
