Georgia Health Information Network

Georgia Health Information Network (GaHIN) is a non-profit organization that serves as the state-designated health information exchange (HIE) for Georgia. It facilitates the secure, electronic exchange of patient health information among hospitals, physicians, clinics, and other healthcare providers to improve care coordination and patient safety. GaHIN connects various regional HIEs, state agencies, and large health systems through its core services, GeorgiaConnected and GeorgiaDirect. By providing real-time access to clinical data at the point of care, the network aims to reduce medical errors, eliminate redundant testing, and lower healthcare costs across the state.
