Geratherm Medical is a Germany-based publicly traded medical technology company that develops, manufactures, and markets medical devices and related products for home care and professional healthcare settings. Its core businesses include healthcare diagnostics such as thermometers, blood pressure monitors, pulse oximetry, pregnancy and women’s health tests, respiratory diagnostics including spirometry, pulmonary function testing and cardiopulmonary exercise testing, and MRI-compatible incubator systems for newborns and premature infants. The company operates through a group structure with specialized subsidiaries in respiratory diagnostics, incubator systems, glass capillary production, and thermometer manufacturing, and maintains a sales presence in Latin America. Historically it also owned a cardio/stroke diagnostics business, but this subsidiary was sold in 2024 as part of a portfolio realignment. Geratherm is shifting toward consumer-oriented medtech investments while continuing to sell products internationally across more than 60 countries.
