Gift of Hope Regenerative Medicine Foundation

Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network is a non-profit organ procurement organization (OPO) that coordinates organ and tissue donation in Illinois and northwest Indiana. As one of the largest OPOs in the United States, it serves as a critical link between donors and transplant centers, providing life-saving organs and tissues for clinical transplantation and regenerative medicine research. The organization facilitates the recovery of kidneys, hearts, lungs, and livers, as well as tissues such as bone, skin, and heart valves used in various surgical procedures. Beyond procurement, Gift of Hope supports research initiatives in regenerative medicine and cell therapy by providing high-quality human biospecimens to academic and commercial partners. Their work is foundational to the development of new therapies in the fields of tissue engineering and transplantation science.
