Gift of Life Donor Program is a leading non-profit organ procurement organization (OPO) that coordinates organ and tissue donation in the eastern half of Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware. As one of the largest and oldest OPOs in the United States, the organization serves as a critical link between donors, their families, and transplant recipients. Gift of Life works with nearly 130 acute care hospitals and 14 transplant centers to facilitate life-saving transplants and provide comprehensive support services. Beyond clinical coordination, the organization manages the Gift of Life Family House and conducts extensive community education and advocacy for organ donation. Since its inception in 1974, it has coordinated tens of thousands of organ transplants and hundreds of thousands of tissue transplants.
