Glenner Town Square

Glenner Town Square is an innovative adult day care center designed specifically for individuals living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. The facility utilizes "reminiscence therapy" by immersing participants in a simulated 1950s-era town environment, featuring functional storefronts such as a diner, cinema, and department store. This approach aims to reduce agitation and improve mood by tapping into long-term memories from the participants' youth. Operated by the George G. Glenner Alzheimer's Family Centers, the model provides a safe, engaging environment for seniors while offering essential respite for family caregivers.
