Global DX

Global DX was a private UK animal health diagnostics company focused on rapid lateral flow tests for veterinary use at the point of care. The company marketed diagnostic product lines for companion animals under the Petscreen brand and for livestock under the Herdscreen brand, with a particular emphasis on infectious disease testing and surveillance. Its offering appears to have included commercial veterinary rapid tests such as African swine fever and foot-and-mouth disease antibody assays, and it also promoted contract development and brand support services through Global DX Solutions. The business drew on experience associated with Omega Diagnostics founder Andrew Shepherd and positioned itself as a specialist in veterinary immunoassay and field-deployable diagnostics. Although its products were commercialized, the UK legal entity Global DX Limited is now in liquidation.
