Global Livingston Institute

The Global Livingston Institute (GLI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving health and community development in East Africa, primarily in Uganda and Rwanda. Operating under the mantra "Listen. Think. Act.", GLI facilitates public health initiatives including large-scale HIV/AIDS testing and cervical cancer screening programs. The institute manages the Entusi Resort and Retreat Center in Uganda, which serves as a hub for research, education, and community engagement. By partnering with local governments and international academic institutions, GLI works to address systemic poverty and health disparities through sustainable, community-led solutions. Their health programs focus on prevention, screening, and connecting rural populations to the formal healthcare system while fostering global collaboration through student and fellowship programs.
