In 2016, Glomed was acquired by the global healthcare leader Abbott, a move that significantly bolstered Abbott's presence in the emerging Vietnamese market. The company operates two major manufacturing facilities in Binh Duong province, both of which adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
