Overview

GlySure developed and commercialized the world’s first continuous intravascular glucose monitoring system (CIGMS) for use in intensive care units. The system provides accurate, real-time blood glucose measurements every fifteen seconds to support tight glycemic control, which has been shown to reduce mortality and complications such as sepsis and renal failure. The product received CE mark approval for commercialization in Europe. Clinical data demonstrated high accuracy throughout ICU stays. FDA clearance was being pursued with clinical trial planning underway as of 2015
