GN Otometrics

GN Otometrics was a Danish hearing and balance diagnostics company focused on commercial medical devices and software for audiology, hearing screening, hearing diagnostics, vestibular assessment, and hearing instrument fitting. The business supplied computer-based audiological, otoneurologic, and vestibular instrumentation, sound rooms, and related software to hospitals, clinics, and hearing care professionals worldwide. Historically part of GN Store Nord, the company was sold to Natus Medical and the acquisition closed in January 2017. Following the transaction, Otometrics became part of Natus' sensory diagnostics portfolio rather than operating as an independent biotech or therapeutic drug developer. The company was healthcare-focused, but its business centered on diagnostic equipment and clinical workflow tools rather than pharmaceuticals or therapeutics.
