GOED is the Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s, a nonprofit trade association representing the worldwide omega-3 industry. The organization is not a drug-development biotech company; rather, it serves as an industry advocate and knowledge hub focused on increasing consumption of EPA and DHA omega-3s from seafood, supplements, and medicines. GOED supports its members through regulatory, scientific, technical, market-data, and communications services, and maintains industry quality standards through the GOED Voluntary Monograph. Its membership spans the omega-3 supply chain, including crude oil suppliers, refiners, concentrators, contract manufacturers, and consumer brands. GOED also operates data and education assets such as the Clinical Study Database and market research products used by companies across the omega-3 ecosystem.
