GONO-MIG

Gruppo Oncologico Nord Ovest – Mammella Intergruppo (GONO-MIG) is an Italian clinical research cooperative group dedicated to advancing the treatment of breast cancer. The organization coordinates large-scale, multicenter randomized clinical trials to evaluate the efficacy of various therapeutic strategies, including dose-dense chemotherapy regimens and the optimal sequencing of hormone therapies. GONO-MIG is a key member of the Breast International Group (BIG) and collaborates with major oncology centers across Italy to establish new standards of care. Its research has significantly contributed to the understanding of anthracycline and taxane-based treatments in both adjuvant and metastatic settings.
