Gram Peptides was an online peptide retailer and chemical supplier founded by pharmacist Bernard Gramlich. Based in Rancho Santa Fe, California, the company marketed and sold various synthetic peptides, including Retatrutide (referred to as GLP-1-R peptide) and Tirzepatide (referred to as GLP-2 peptide), alongside bacteriostatic water for reconstitution. In March 2026, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a warning letter to Gram Peptides, stating that its products were unapproved new drugs marketed for human use despite Research Use Only disclaimers. Following increased regulatory scrutiny and state-level pharmacy board actions against its founder, the company ceased active operations.
