Granite Bio is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing first-in-class antibody therapies for autoimmune, inflammatory, and fibrotic diseases. Launched by Versant Ventures through its Ridgeline Discovery Engine, the company leverages novel insights into disease biology to target the root causes of inflammation. Its lead program, GRT-001, is an ADCC-enhanced monoclonal antibody designed to selectively deplete pathogenic pro-inflammatory monocytes, currently in Phase 1b trials for inflammatory bowel disease. A second program, GRT-002, targets interleukin-3 (IL-3) to address conditions such as itch and allergies, with clinical trials planned for 2026. The company is backed by a strong syndicate of investors including Novartis Venture Fund, Forbion, and Sanofi Ventures.
