Company intelligence / Profile preview
Great Lakes Clinical Trials was a U.S. private clinical research site organization founded in 2013 in Chicago, Illinois. The company operated outpatient clinical trial centers focused on testing investigational medications, vaccines, products, devices, food products, and supplements across mental health, neurology, pain, and general medicine, later also highlighting rheumatic, metabolic, and infectious disease studies. In January 2022, Great Lakes Clinical Trials was added to the Flourish Research network in a transaction described as a recapitalization/partnership, and its former Chicago locations are now branded as Flourish Research sites. The business was not a therapeutic product developer; instead, it provided clinical trial execution, patient recruitment, investigator services, and study operations for sponsors and CROs. Historically, it appears to have served as the flagship Chicago research center for the organization that later became part of Flourish Research.
