Greater Houston Anesthesiology

Greater Houston Anesthesiology was a Houston-area anesthesiology physician practice focused on perioperative and anesthesia services rather than drug development. The organization served hospitals, surgery centers, and physician offices in the Greater Houston market and was commonly referred to as GHA. In January 2013, U.S. Anesthesia Partners acquired Greater Houston Anesthesiology, and the practice now operates under USAP-Texas (Gulf Coast). As a result, the legacy GHA name is best understood as a former branded physician group within a larger anesthesia services organization, not as an independent biotech or pharmaceutical company.
