GreenVax

GreenVax was a specialized biotechnology initiative and facility established through a collaboration between the Texas A&M University System and private partners, including G-CON and Caliber Biotherapeutics. The company focused on the rapid development and large-scale manufacturing of plant-based vaccines, specifically targeting pandemic influenza. Utilizing a proprietary hydroponic plant-growth system, GreenVax aimed to produce millions of vaccine doses within weeks of a viral outbreak, significantly faster than traditional egg-based methods.
