Henlez is a Danish biotechnology company focused on developing first-in-class enzyme-based therapies for chronic and disabling skin diseases, with a primary focus on hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). Co-founded in 2019 by Professor Gregor Jemec, a world-leading expert in dermatology, and CEO Jeppe Mouritsen, the company leverages precision enzyme technology to address the underlying pathophysiology of HS, such as follicular occlusion and biofilm formation. Its lead development program, HEN-001, is a topical enzyme treatment designed to provide a novel mode of action for patients with limited therapeutic options.
