GroundControl Solutions was a private enterprise software company that developed cloud-based automation software for provisioning, managing, and securing shared mobile devices, especially Apple iPhone and iPad deployments in regulated environments. Its platform helped organizations automate device setup, lifecycle management, authentication, privacy controls, asset management, and security workflows at scale. The company served customers across hospitals, retail outlets, airports, and other enterprise settings, with particular traction in healthcare shared-device workflows. Founded in 2014 and headquartered in New York City, GroundControl was acquired by Imprivata in January 2020. After the acquisition, its technology was integrated into Imprivata's mobile product line and is now marketed as Imprivata Mobile Access Management, formerly GroundControl.
