LYSA (The Lymphoma Study Association) is a leading international cooperative research group dedicated to the study of lymphoma, formed in 2012 through the merger of GELA and GOELAMS. Headquartered in France, the organization coordinates a vast network of clinicians and researchers across Europe to conduct high-impact clinical trials and translational research. LYSA works in tandem with its operational arm, LYSARC, which functions as an academic clinical research organization to manage trial logistics, data, and regulatory affairs. The group is globally recognized for pioneering studies that have established new standards of care, most notably the introduction of rituximab in the treatment of B-cell lymphomas. Their research spans all subtypes of lymphoma and includes the evaluation of novel therapies such as CAR-T cells, bispecific antibodies, and targeted small molecules.
