Groupe de Recherche Action en Santé (GRAS) is a prominent Burkinabé clinical research organization and non-profit institute dedicated to improving public health through high-quality scientific research. Founded in 2008, the organization specializes in conducting Phase I through Phase IV clinical trials for vaccines and treatments against major infectious diseases, most notably malaria, typhoid, and meningitis. GRAS operates state-of-the-art facilities in Ouagadougou and collaborates extensively with international partners, including the World Health Organization and various global pharmaceutical companies. The institute plays a critical role in the evaluation of new health interventions in sub-Saharan Africa, providing essential data for regulatory approvals and global health policy decisions.
