Grove Biopharma is a preclinical-stage biotechnology company developing a novel class of therapeutics called Protein-Like Polymers (PLPs). Spun out of the Gianneschi Group at Northwestern University, the company's platform utilizes biomimetic polymers to present bioactive peptides in a high-density, proteolytically stable format. This technology is designed to overcome the limitations of traditional peptide drugs, such as rapid degradation and poor bioavailability, while enabling the targeting of complex protein-protein interactions. Grove Biopharma's current pipeline focuses on inhibiting matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) for the treatment of oncology and chronic inflammatory conditions.
