Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Guangzhou, the company has pioneered the development of biochemical drugs derived from natural human proteins through advanced extraction and purification technologies. In 2018, the company was acquired by Shanghai Pharmaceuticals, which purchased the majority stake previously held by Takeda Pharmaceutical.
