Gynopharm

Gynopharm is a specialized pharmaceutical company and division of CFR Pharmaceuticals (now part of Abbott Laboratories) that focuses on women's healthcare and gynecological products across Latin America. The company provides a comprehensive portfolio of therapeutic options, including oral contraceptives, hormone replacement therapies, antiandrogens, treatments for overactive bladder, prenatal vitamins, and bone health supplements. Gynopharm operates through several regional subsidiaries, such as Gynopharm S.A. in Costa Rica and Gynopharm de Centroamérica S.A. in Panama, distributing branded generic medicines and specialized therapies. Following the acquisition of its parent company, CFR Pharmaceuticals, by Abbott Laboratories in 2014, Gynopharm's operations have been integrated into Abbott's Established Pharmaceutical Products segment in emerging markets.
