GZA Ziekenhuizen Campus Sint-Augustinus is a major acute care hospital located in Wilrijk, Antwerp, and serves as a flagship facility within the GasthuisZusters Antwerpen network. The campus is internationally recognized for its specialized GZA Oncology Center, which is one of the largest and most advanced cancer treatment facilities in Belgium. In addition to oncology, the hospital provides comprehensive services in maternity care, cardiovascular medicine, and orthopedics. As a teaching hospital, it maintains a robust clinical research department that participates in numerous Phase 1 through Phase 3 clinical trials in collaboration with global pharmaceutical companies. In July 2024, GZA merged with Ziekenhuis Netwerk Antwerpen (ZNA) to form Ziekenhuis aan de Stroom (ZAS), creating one of the largest healthcare systems in Europe.
