Company intelligence / Profile preview
Hôpitaux Robert Schuman operates as one of Luxembourg’s largest private hospital groups. It was formed in 2014 by merging four hospitals—Clinique Bohler, Hôpital Kirchberg, ZithaKlinik and Clinique Sainte-Marie. The group provides comprehensive acute and specialized medical care across multiple disciplines including oncology, cardiology, nephrology/dialysis/transplantation medicine, orthopedics/rheumatology/osteoporosis treatment and surgery. It emphasizes high-quality patient-centered care with advanced technical platforms and innovative medical techniques.
The organization also supports research projects in collaboration with the Luxembourg Institute of Health for cancer and precision medicine. As of May 2025 Clinique Sainte-Marie has closed but the rest remain active.
No drug development pipeline exists as it does not develop therapeutics.
The Foundation FHRS owns the hospital group; it also invests in healthcare infrastructure/research/training.
