Hack.Diversity

Hack.Diversity is a Boston-based workforce development nonprofit founded in 2016 to address the underrepresentation of Black and Latine/x/a/o professionals in the innovation economy. Originally launched as a project of the New England Venture Capital Association (NEVCA), the organization operates a nine-month fellowship program that provides career coaching, mentorship, and internship placement for early-career technologists. Hack.Diversity partners with high-growth companies in sectors such as biotechnology, healthcare technology, and software to bridge the gap between overlooked talent and the tech industry. In addition to talent placement, the organization provides Racial Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (REDI) training to its corporate partners to foster more inclusive workplace cultures. Since its inception, it has expanded its operations to New York City and has connected hundreds of fellows to roles in software engineering, data analytics, and mechanical engineering.
