Zhuhai SEZ Haitai Biological Pharmaceuticals is a Chinese in vitro diagnostics company focused on the research, development, manufacture, and sale of diagnostic reagents and related raw materials. The company is one of the early domestic developers of IVD reagents in China and operates manufacturing lines spanning ELISA, colloidal gold rapid tests, microbiology, and molecular diagnostics. Its product portfolio covers reproductive and prenatal health, infectious diseases, genetic disease screening, immune monitoring, and veterinary diagnostics, with commercial products including rubella, measles, hydatid, TORCH, and COVID-19 antibody assays. Haitai operates GMP manufacturing facilities in Zhuhai and, as of 2023, is wholly controlled by Wuhan Hiteck Biological Pharma. The business appears to be a commercial-stage diagnostics subsidiary rather than a therapeutics drug-development company.
